Teaching Practice at  MinSCAT Laboratory High School Calapan City Campus.

For the teaching practice, I taught from 13 of August until 17 of August and had my final demo on 23 of August.

My schedule of teaching in Laboratory High School 

When I had my practice of teaching in LHS MinSCAT, I only taught in grade 8 until 10.

Before I taught in LHS, I always discussed the material that I will teach with Sir Amir,he gave me idea and help me to prepare the materials. I taught them used power point and visual aids. Some time I only use power point and some time I just use visual aids and write in the black board. 

Procedures of Teaching

For the procedures of teaching, I always follow the steps from the lesson plan. Start with praying, which one student will lead the prayer, greetings, classroom management to pick up any trash or pieces of paper around them and arrange their chair properly, asked for the attendance, reviewing the previous material, give motivation before teach new material, read the objective of the new lesson, core material, exercise, quiz about the lesson evaluation asking what they have learned and also ask their suggestions.

Time Management and Organizing Activities

For the time management its the hard thing to handle because in every meeting, it only have 1 hour. So, I must manage the time properly, it should not end too fast or maybe over time because it will disturb the next class and also for the activities make sure that the students get the point or the command that we ask them to do so they are not getting confuse. To organize the activity, I prefer to have games or something fun to do in the class.

Problem-solving

In every teaching, sometimes there are problems that might be happen in the class. To solve the problem we should have plan if that thing happen.

The first time I teach in LHS I got problem which the class is end to early, I realize it and then because it the first time I ask the students to introduce their self. I also had a problem with the power pint that I use, it was to small so the students at the back can not see it properly, to solve that I ask the student in front to read the slide loudly so the students at the back can hear it.

Classroom Management

To manage the classroom is to hard for me, because I have small voice. Sometimes the students are noisy but when I try to ask them to keep quite its not work and then I start to quite and their realize I want them to keep quite. 

Every times I finish teaching in the class, Sir Amir always evaluate my teaching methods. He always give me many advise and some way to handle the class. I feel so bad when I make a mistakes in the class but that is the way we learn.

Final Demo

I have my final demo on 23rd of August, final demo is a big thing for me and also the other students teacher. When I had my final demo there are 4 observer, Maam Arlyn the director of MinSCAT Calapan City, Sir Rodel the organizer of all the students teacher, Sir Abdon the Laboratory High School principal and also Sir Amir my cooperating teacher. 

I felt so nervous of the final demo because there are 4 observer. It flow smoothly even though there is a problem when I teach, but it finished goodly I think. I use power point,video and also visual aids when I had my final demo.

After the class end the students are come to me and said "ma'am you are doing good. Fighting". I feel so touched because of them.

At all, I have great experience in teaching in Laboratory High School of MinSCAT Calapan City.
